About the Summary of Product Characteristics Tracker

We track changes to the Electronic Medicines Compendium(EMC) for medicines used in the treatment of cancer (Anatomic Therapeutic Codes L01 - L03 and some of L04). Not all medicines are listed on the EMC website, however most are. The EMC wesbite has its own tracking functions, however there are some differences with this site:

  • We list all cancer medicines in one place

  • We track the specific changes in the text rather than rely on the pharmceutical companies version of changes

  • We offer an email and Bluesky notification service

  • We report if a document may no longer be available.

Listed below is every SmPC we have ever tracked, when we last successfully checked it for updates and if the SmPC may now no longer be available on EMC.

For deleted (marked ‘Possibly’ or ‘Unavailable’ SmPCs we will have an archived copy available if required. There may be a copy available from the MHRA Website - clicking the link for ‘Possibly’ or ‘Unavailable’ should search the MHRA website for the same product license number.
